I start my hike in the evening sun and the birds singing in the trees, in the beginning it was bare ground, but as I hike higher up into Bastudalen Nature Reserve the snow field shows up more often.

I listen to a few willow grouse before I fall a sleep, I slept very well in my tent.
Nice morning in the fells
I Weak up to a really nice morning, I prepare my breakfast and some coffee before I continue my hike in Bastudalen Nature Reserve.
I went back into the woodland from the bogs below the fells.
The nature was really beautiful, deep valleys with cold fresh streams and high sand hills with old gray pines.

I spend a long time enjoying the landscape and boil a lot of coffee.
I was completely alone in the woodland and the sun poking through the clouds from time to time between the snowstorms. Typical April weather.
Old Frozen Man in the deep Woodland
I meet this frozen man deep in the woodland of Bastudalens Nature Reserve. I think it was a little creepy. Figure and shape almost exactly like a man.
I will come back to this location later in the summer, I found a lot of potential in the rough and hilly landscape with a great feeling of wilderness.
