I had seen notification on Valentines day that there will be northern lights later in the evening so I decided to go out and photograph the northern Lights.
It been a while since I was out photographing the northern lights, and I was really glad to finally get out in the dark night.
I park my car close to the bridge Rödöbron. The northern lights dance above my head and I hurry down to the lake.
My plan was to find some open water that I can use for a nice reflection of the Aurora.
The northern lights really kick of above my head when I reach the lake, so I hurry to put up my tripod and grab my 15mm wide angle lens.
I start a five second exposure and I get really excited. I almost didn’t get the hole Aurora to fit in my wide angel lens.

Found some open water and a lovely view of the late night show. I was so amazed by the wonderful show.
