Late in the afternoon, I hiked into a nature reserve called Helvetesbrännan, located on the border between Jämtland and Medelpad. In this beautiful old woodland, I was searching for solitude and peaceful moments.
Lovely Evening for a Hike
The sun was poking through the old trees as I started my hike from the small lake Stor-Stugusjötjärnen. The ground was wet, and a bear or wolverine had left a damp footprint on the wooden boardwalk.
New Cabin at Rången
Soon, I arrived at Lake Rången, where a newly built cabin was available. I took the opportunity to stay there for the weekend.

Hiking up to Rångeberget
One beautiful evening, I hiked up the hill Rångeberget. The view over the old woodland was breathtaking, offering lovely solitude. It was just me and a few birds flying among the treetops.
Milky Way Over the Old Woodland
Lake Rången was completely still as I watched the stars fall across the dark night sky. The Milky Way stretched over the ancient trees in Rången, Helvetesbrännan.
