In the morning on Christmas eve I head out on a little photography outing to Spikarna in Medelpad, Sweden.

Spikarna is a fishing village on south-eastern Alnön outside Sundsvall. It is a popular tourist destination in the summer, tourists often walk along the rocky beach. On the island you find a chapel and a pilot station.

I really enjoy to walk along the small road to the shoreline of Spikarna. It was really beautiful, untouched fresh cold snow and lovely morning light.

Before the sunrise

I use a Long exposure to smooth out the ocean in contrast of the beautiful rugged icy cliffs on Spikarna, Alnön, Medelpad.
It was really nice to get away in the morning before Christmas celebration and had some time by myself at the shoreline. I walk around the small island and found some small intimate scene.
