It all begin with a big passion for the outdoor.
From young age I have spend a lot of time outdoor in different type of activity, start with building shelters in the wood, long distant running, mountain biking, snowboarding, telemark, fly fishing, hiking, backcountry- / cross country skiing and camping.
I want to share my passion and start capture and dokument my journeys in the fells and woodland.
Several years ago I start to capture my journeys more serious, so I bring with me tripod and more advance full frame system camera.
I love the woodland close to the fells.

This spring I also start to enjoy painting. I paint in watercolor, if you want to see my work, please visit my Instagram account.

Life after a burnt out

2022 have not been a easy year, I have start working more after I get burn out and it have been a struggle and in the spring I crash my car in a car accident, but after some rehab and training everything start to get back to normal.

Spend much time in the outdoor

I have spend a lot of time in the nature, and many times with just a pan of Coffee and no camera gear.

Those time I bring with me my camera I did get some decent photos that I’m pretty satisfied with.

Below I want to share some photos with you.

January | Lonely Swan | Tännforsen

January | Lonely Swan | Tännforsen

I went out on a day trip to photograph some waterfalls around Åre. Tännforsen in winter was really a nice visit, the waterfall was fabulously beautiful. Steam from the waterfall had created fantastically beautiful ice formations that resembled the wings of a swan. Took some creative freedom and created this collage with a lone swan that I photographed on a lovely autumn day at Spikarna, Medelpad.

February | Shaped by the wind | Issjödalen

February | Shaped by the wind | Issjödalen

Winter trip to Issjödalen from Vallbo, started my ski trip at sunset. The winter landscape was covered in a thick blanket of fluffy powder snow, skied in the glow from the headlamp across bogs up to the fells on the horizon. It was starry clear and the stars sparkled and twinkled as I pitched my tent in Issjödalen. A glimt of the Northern Lights was visible above the mountain.

April | Moonrise in the old woodland | Vålådalen Nature Reserve

April | Moonrise in the old woodland | Vålådalen

I went out on a solo trip that mostly went outside the main trail in the Vålådalen Nature Reserve. I initially followed the trail towards Stensdalen, where I was very nicely joined by Ola at the Vålådalen Naturrum who had a Pop-up, was greeted by a cup of hot coffee, we had a very nice chat, we were also joined by a couple of Siberian Jays. The ski tour then continued unplanned towards Kyrkstenen, skiing through beautiful old forest with many fine silver pines. The wind was blowing hard up on the mountain so I chose to camp at the edge of the forest while the moon rise magnificently in the sky. The weekend was almost over anyway and the journey home was in wonderful April weather, sunny and warm.

September | Tree on the ground | Storulvån

I set out on an autumn hike in the area around Storulvån. It has been many years since we hiked here, I used to be here often with the children when they were small. It was a nice return visit, I hiked mainly off trail so I hiked without encountering other hikers for the entire weekend. I pitched the tent right next to a small pond, I had a really nice afternoon and evening, when I woke up the fog was thick over the landscape and gave me some nice moments that I managed to capture in a picture, but what really caught my interest was right at my feet, a wonderfully fine little landscape in miniature.

October | By the Sea | Lörudden
