Back country skiing a cold winter afternoon to Forsaskalet in Åre
The pale November sun cast their light on mt. Åreskutan while I start my backcountry skiing trip from Ullådalen in Åre, Sweden. Temperature was quite cold and the landscape was really magical and the light was really amazing. I was so lucky for this afternoon on the fells.
Soon I start to get up higher on the fells and the light on mt. Åreskutan start to fade away but it was very beautiful misty atmosphere. I was a little bit unsure how long the amazing light will last and I want to make sure that I have at least one photograph of a nice backlighted birch tree.

The beautiful light remaining while I skiing towards Forsaskalet, I got really amazed of all beauty. I wondering if the shelter still standing, it was a while since I last visit Forsaskalet, when I was there last time the shelter have blown down but to my luck the shelter stod therein upright position. I went inside for a cup of coffee and a sandwich.

I was capture the beautiful lights over Mullfjället so I almost forgot to look behind me, Åreskutan in winter glow.

When I get back out on the fells sun have set behind the fells and really cold wind svept over the fells as I start to ski back to Ullådalen. I choose the longer way home and in the light of moon and time to time heavy snowfall I find my way over the fells towards Lillåstugan.
It was so magical but very cold.
Soon I was back to my car, very thankful for the trip.
