Atmospheric conditions in Vålådalens Nature Reserve

I woke up very early in the morning after a cold night with frost on my tent. The landscape had transformed into a fairytale scene, with smooth mist lingering between the gnarled old trees. I quickly dressed, grabbed my tripod, and hurried off to capture the beauty of the landscape.

The mist helped me create depth, separate the layers, and achieve simplicity. Using a telephoto lens, I focused on intimate scenes, emphasizing negative space to convey vulnerability and show how small they appear in the vast landscape.
